Understanding your odds
How pool size, winner caps and draw type change your chances.
Your chance of winning any single draw depends on three things: how many postcodes are in the live pool, how many winners that draw allows, and whether the draw requires an unlock step.
Because unlocked draws such as the Survey and Video draws have smaller pools, the odds per entrant are usually better even though the headline prize can be smaller.
The live pool size for every draw is published on the Odds page, so you can always check the current numbers rather than taking our word for it.
